K. Field Road to Hydraulic Creek
Construction is underway on the latest extension to the trail. This addition will expand the Mission Creek Greenway by 2.1 km, creating a 18.6 km continuous trail along Mission Creek from the large boulder to the kiosk at Lakeshore Road.
July 2015 - A new bridge to access the Phase 3A trail
K1 - Grasslands high above KLO Creek on the East escarpment of the lower canyon.
K2 - Views from the upper Rim Trail between KLO and Hydraulic Creeks.
K3 - Views along the lower Creek-side Trail on Mission Creek between KLO & Hydraulic Creeks.
K4 - Views along the lower Creek-side Trail on Mission Creek between KLO & Hydraulic Creeks.
K5 - KLO Creek falls downstream from McCulloch Rd. To view the falls, leave Greenway trail to Field Rd parking area and travel behind the caretaker's cabin, to hike up the West side of KLO Creek. Complete a 'loop' by taking the trail from the falls up the hill to McCulloch Rd. Then follow the Road down to KLO bridge and up the other side. At the top of the hill, take a trail that will lead you down the East side of KLO creek lower canyon. Always take the downhill trail to lead back to the lower KLO bridge. Then walk up the Greenway toward the Field Rd parking area. At the caretaker’s cabin your 'loop' is completed.
K6 - KLO Creek immediately before entering Mission Creek
